Chalet Malá Rennerovka is located at an altitude of 1,240 m above sea level and is located in the central part of the Giant Mountains - in an important mountain recreation area - in an area called Zadní Rennerovka, approximately 7 km from Strážné u Vrchlabí and 7 km from Sněžka.
Zadní Rennerovky is a settlement and meadow enclave in the Giant Mountains and was founded around 1695 by the prominent Renner family. They are located on the eastern slope of Světlý vrch, currently also in the territory of II. zones of the Krkonoše National Park. There are many hiking trails with pole markings and cross-country trails (Krkonošská magistrála) in the vicinity. Zadní Rennerovka consists of Malá Rennerovka, Kuprovka, Grohmann bouda and Dvorská bouda cottages.
